Three important notes! And a 4th note!
(1) For our 7:30 pm class, please do not ring the doorbell until 7:31pm! The doorbell is REALLY loud, and rings right in the classroom. There is a different class in the space before us, and we don't want to disturb them. We (Ken and Paula) try to arrive about 7:15 pm (15 minutes early) to let folks in the front door. Please just smile and knock on the glass door at us, and we'll open it right up! (2) Bring DRY, CLEAN shoes, and change into them after you arrive. Or your spiffiest socks. Especially during wet weather. We need to protect the beautiful wood dance floor. Thanks! (3) Our exact address: Lucid Body House 230 Lexington Ave, 2nd Floor, between 33rd & 34th St. New York City (Manhattan) Please write the exact address down (or screenshot it)! It doesn't appear anywhere else. For odd but necessary reasons, we cannot post it elsewhere. (4) You are welcome to bring friends — but they should register here first! If they don't register online, they will have to sign a special Liability Waiver at the door. And be subject to TSA Screening Procedures. And they'll hold up the whole class. Paula Wilson: Internationally ranked West Coast Swing competition dancer. Graduate of the Alvin Ailey School's Professional Division. Professional modern dancer and internationally traveling Argentine Tango teacher for 12 years. Award-winning former early childhood teacher.
Ken Kreshtool: Internationally ranked West Coast Swing competition dancer. Six years in a row, student commented by Harvard University students as "the best instructor I've ever had in ANYTHING!" for his on-campus dance classes (while working on a PhD there).
