Forró is a partner dance, genre of music, and rhythmic structure from the Northeast region of Brazil. The dance looks a bit like someone squished Argentine Tango, Salsa, and Swing together into one fantastic dance soufflé. The most widely danced partner dance in Brazil, it has become massively popular in Europe over the last decade, but has only recently begun to take North America by storm.
Rafael Wilker has been dancing Forró for over a decade, and is a graduate of Brazil's most well-known Forró conservatory, Pé Descalço. He is widely recognized for his superb musicality, infectious energy, and excellent teaching ability, and has taught at festivals, intensives, and workshops in just about every corner of the world. In addition to dancing Forró, he has also studied and dances Zouk, Samba de Gafieira, Bolero, Argentine Tango, and West Coast Swing. His wide-range of dance knowledge makes his classes especially useful for people with previous dance training who now want to learn Forró. Don't miss the chance to learn from the best!

How to Access the Videos:
1. Pay our suggested fee: $10 US. (You can pay less than that, but $10 would be appreciated.)
- Once your fee is received, you will be sent a code to access both the beginner and advanced videos. Watch them anytime.
2. Want feedback? Pay $40 US and you will automatically have the opportunity to receive written or verbal feedback from Rafael.
----> Those dancers interested in this option need to record themselves performing the exercises from the class videos, then send us a link to the video at [email protected]. Rafael will provide personal feedback after viewing your video.
3. Want video feedback? Pay $60 and you will receive video feedback from Rafael.
----> Those dancers interested in this option need to record themselves performing the exercises from the class videos, then send us a link to the video at [email protected]. Alternatively, you can record yourself dancing with a partner for 3-4 minutes and submit your video. Rafael will provide video feedback, with personal notes about what he thinks could use improvement.
